Jesus said about Wisdom

Jesus said about Wisdom

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. Matthew 7:24,25

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place,to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. John 14:26 AMPC

Jesus answered and said unto them (the Sadducees), Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Matthew 22:29

What Jesus did

Then answered Jesus and said unto them,  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.John 5:19

Other scriptures

The fear (reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.Proverbs 1:7

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double mined man is unstable in all his ways.James 1:5-8

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:1 Corinthians 1:30

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.1 John 2:27

Examples

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he (Stephen a deacon) spoke. Acts 6:10

Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them, And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship but also of our lives. Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.Acts 27:9-12,21

Summary

True wisdom is to hear the words of Jesus and apply them in your life. The Holy Spirit will remind you of the relevant word and help you understand how to apply it. Reverencing God’s wisdom in your life is the beginning of knowledge. You don’t need any man to teach you outside of the leading of the Holy Spirit. The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. God is smarter than you, whoever you are! He can see things coming that natural senses, knowledge and experience cannot foresee. Listen to the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit as he reveals God’s wisdom to you in every situation.
